More than 150 Students Competed in Season-Themed Skits at Homecoming Game
More than 150 Middle Country Central School District Centereach High School (CHS) students gathered on the football field to compete in the first Battle of the Classes event of the school year. Students dressed up in their best fall, winter, spring and summer attire to perform skits inspired by the four seasons in celebration of Homecoming 2015. Freshman, sophomore, junior and senior classes went head to head with choreographed skits featuring themed music and dance routines to gain points toward a yearlong battle to be named the winning class.
Before the skits, the homecoming court led by this year’s king and queen were announced. During halftime of the football game, the cheerleaders, the kickline and the high school band performed an exciting halftime show.
