Hawkins Path Elementary School Hosts Field Day

Hawkins Path Elementary School was a hub of excitement and activity as students participated in the annual field day, a highly anticipated, physical education event that’s run with assistance from the dedicated members of Newfield High School’s Varsity Leaders Club.

The field day provided the students with a fun-filled day of outdoor games, friendly competitions, and team-building activities. Under the bright sunshine and amidst cheers and laughter, Hawkins Path Elementary students showcased their athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Hawkins Path PTA volunteers treated all the students and staff to a BBQ to add to the excitement of the day.

Adding to the vibrancy of the event were the enthusiastic volunteers from Newfield High School’s Varsity Leaders Club. These high school students generously devoted their time and energy to ensure the smooth execution of the field day activities. Whether they were supervising games, cheering on participants, or offering words of encouragement, the Varsity Leaders Club members played an instrumental role in creating an unforgettable experience for elementary school students.

The collaboration between Hawkins Path Elementary School and Newfield High School’s Varsity Leaders Club exemplifies the spirit of community and camaraderie within the school district. By fostering meaningful connections between students of different age groups, the event not only promotes teamwork and leadership but also strengthens the bonds within the school community.
