Centereach High School is thrilled to announce that senior Catherine Lucero Amaya has won the SEPA Mujer Annual Magazine Cover Design Contest. Catherine’s exceptional artwork was selected to grace the cover of this year’s magazine, a testament to her talent and creativity.
Catherine’s design, which was chosen from numerous entries, profoundly reflects the theme of “Strength in Solidarity, Resilience, Justice, and Unity.” Her artwork captures the essence of SEPA Mujer’s mission and values, resonating deeply with the organization’s commitment to empowering communities and advocating for social justice. Catherine’s achievement will be recognized at SEPA Mujer’s Annual Gala on Friday, October 4 at the Waterview in Port Jefferson.
