Selden Middle School proudly presented its production of Beetlejuice Jr., a lively and imaginative musical that entertained audiences of all ages.
Based on the beloved film and Broadway hit, Beetlejuice Jr. tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose life changes when she encounters a mischievous ghost with a flair for the dramatic. Filled with humor, heart, and high-energy musical numbers, the student production brought the spooky yet hilarious tale to life on stage.
The production was made possible through the dedication and leadership of a talented creative team, including Melanie Maiorca, Director; Jenise Hillman, Producer; Christopher Branco, Tech Director; Alyssa Sposato, Music Director; and Toniann Altebrando, Treasurer.
The cast and crew of Selden Middle School worked diligently in the weeks leading up to the performances. Students dedicated countless hours to rehearsals, set design, costuming, and technical production, showcasing not only their artistic talents but also their teamwork and commitment.
The performances, held at Selden Middle School, were well attended by family members, friends, and community members, all of whom showed enthusiastic support for the talented young performers.
