New Lane Elementary School proudly hosted its annual Multicultural Night, bringing together students, families, and staff for an evening filled with culture, community, and celebration.
Thanks to improving weather conditions, this year’s event was held outdoors for the first time, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for the hundreds of New Lane families who attended. More than 40 families proudly represented their countries and cultures by sharing delicious traditional foods, meaningful stories, beautiful cultural attire, and unique traditions from around the world. Attendees had the opportunity to experience and celebrate the rich diversity that makes the New Lane school community so special.
One of the evening’s highlights was an incredible Mexican Folklórico performance, which captivated the audience with its colorful costumes, lively music, and energetic dancing. The event showcased the strong sense of pride, inclusion, and connection shared throughout the New Lane community. Students and families enjoyed learning from one another while celebrating the many cultures represented within the school.
