Centereach, N.Y. (December 2019- Sixteen students from Middle Country Central School District (MCCSD) were selected to perform in the NYSCAME/SCMEA All-County Band, Orchestra and Chorus Festival. Held at Huntington High School, students from across Suffolk County convened to rehearse and perform an impressive repertoire of pieces under the direction of expert conductors.
MCCSD’s participating students were selected based on their NYSSMA All-State score(s) from the previous spring, alongside various recommendations from their teachers. The District strives to provide students with opportunities such as this to foster creativity, hone their talents, and develop skills in an environment outside of the classroom.
